Who is doing the body at Drake’s Funeral?
We all know that Janet Jackson was wrongly blamed for Justin Timberlake’s actions back in 2004. However, I think it’s time for the NFL to right its wrong by making Janet the villain in that situation. Arguably the most iconic event at any NFL halftime show. This show is guaranteed to be iconic just by the context alone. What other way to make it iconic by bringing out our girl Janet? It’s Black History Month we need this.
It helps that Janet and Kendrick technically have a song together because of “Poetic Justice” which samples Janet’s song “Any time, Any place.” What is more poetic justice than Kendrick Lamar bringing out Janet Jackson? To sing a song that famously features Drake. He can play just enough until they get to Drake’s part then start “Not Like Us”. Yeah, you can’t get more iconic than that. Either way, I just know that this halftime show will be iconic.
I honestly do trust Kendrick to have thought about bringing Janet out. Do I really think he will? Maybe. Since Roc Nation aka Jay Z is in charge of the halftime performers, I do think there is a really big chance that it could happen. That is my only wish for this halftime performance. Since Charli pissed me off last week and didn’t perform spring breakers after I specifically asked her to…I really need this.
Either way, my eyes will be glued to the screen in anticipation of Janet coming out. Or just to see if he performs Not Like Us 5 times in a row. There are apparently legal stipulations if he sings the part where he says Drake’s name because technically that is defamation. So people think there is a chance he may not perform it. However, I don’t think there is a chance in hell he won’t perform the song he just won five Grammys for. Please be serious. All I know is that they better not show Taylor Swift even for a second while he is performing. I swear to god. It’s Black History month for fucks sake. That being said I am rooting for the Eagles because Jalen Hurts is fine and Travis Kelce is a dumbass1. Go birds!
