Kiara's Court Exclusive: I'm starting a Podcast 🥳
But it's not what you think.....
Let me get this out of the way now: It is not a Kiara’s Court podcast. I will still be writing my newsletter. So don’t worry about the letters stopping1!
The actual podcast comes out next week and of course, The Jury are the first people to know about it. I’m not even posting about it on social media (yet) to make it truly exclusive.
Here is everything you need to know:
The Name
It’s called 6 Songs 4!
The Cohost
I have mentioned Reilee in the court before but he is my longtime best friend and the perfect person to start this music podcast with. I get a lot of my music taste from him!
The Concept
Every episode my cohost Reilee and I will provide 6 songs (3 songs each) for different scenarios. For example, the first episode is called 6 Songs 4: Starting a Podcast. It will make more sense as the episodes roll out. Trust me they only get more and more unhinged.
I did not want to have a pop culture podcast because I didn’t see the point of having Kiara’s Court and the hundreds of pop culture podcasts already out. This idea is a good mix of pop culture and music so that is why I love it.
In addition to the 6 songs, we will be doing a Diva Debrief of a diva that is on our hearts that week. As well as answering a music-related question at the end of every episode! If you have a question you can email 6songs4@gmail.com!
The questions don’t necessarily have to be music-related but we assume most will be. If you have a question that you want to ask that isn’t music-related, ask anyway! This is the time for us to hear from our listeners regardless of the topic.
When does it come out?
The first episode comes out on June 4th! The episodes will drop every Tuesday after that!
How long will the episodes be?
We are going to try our best to keep it under an hour. We all have places to be!
Will there be a video?
Yes! Reilee and I don’t live in the same place so for now it will be recorded in two different locations. But eventually, Reilee and I plan to live in the same place so we can record in the same room. We need y’all to stream so we can make enough money for him to move!
Will you be playing music on the podcast?
No, because of copyright. BUT we will be releasing a playlist of all the songs mentioned in every episode on Apple Music, Spotify, and Tidal!
