Aidan's back and once again everything is right in the world
A lot has happened this week with The Aliens and my Ariana Grande piece dropping. Apparently, Lilly Jay is claiming that Grande is not a “girl’s girl.” I mean this is not a shocking comment from someone whose ex-husband just filed for divorce on Wednesday. I don’t know if Ariana is a “girl’s girl”, but I would like to know how many of those 7 rings are still being worn today.
I need to see Barbie one more time before I write my review, but I have the angle I think I am going to go with, so I am really excited. Expect that sometime next week. As well as my Beyonce concert review!!! Alright let’s get into this episode.

Right off the bat Carrie is shocked that her impulsive actions have led to an actual response from Aidan. His response is perfectly ambiguous but also just enough to ensue panic in Carrie. I love it. He always makes her sweat. Charlotte once again drops some really sound logic on the girls. It makes perfect sense that if he invited Carrie to dinner, he doesn’t know it’s valentine’s Day which equals single. Or he did know it was Valentine’s Day and he did it on purpose which also equals single! She’s so right! Miranda reveals to the girls that she doesn’t know what sexuality she is and that she was still attracted to Steve when she was with him. The funniest part of this entire scene was Charlotte telling Miranda she needs to figure her sexuality out so she can be happy. Charlotte has double dates to plan. She is tired of Miranda!
So happy to see that Nya has black friends and that we actually got to see them (kinda) in the episode. Anthony has been stealing scenes this entire season but for me the scene stealer was the bread phone that he answered. I NEED it. I always wanted one of those hamburger phones growing up but now I am just obsessed with any type of weird landline phones. I think we should bring landlines back personally.
I do not believe that Anthony or any other gay man would be shocked that his hot fellas use steroids. You want me to believe that he didn’t know that? And also, that he actually cared enough to fire them? Sure, Jan. I do understand it from a PR perspective, I mean it is Drew Barrymore after all she deserves the best! But let’s be fucking for real for a second.
I am not even gonna front, Rock really did eat up their Ralph Lauren photoshoot. I hope they are the most popular kid at school now. I also hope that I don’t sound like Charlotte when I talk about Davey’s Instagram (@selenawandadavis). Now, Henry Jr. has some nerve. He has fallen into the trap that happens way too often to young black men, dating a white girl. Obviously, not all white women are created equal, and some are far worse than others. However, Henry’s little girlfriend, “Baxter”, is not it. Her hand was only on his belt, but LTW’s reaction was warranted. If a Black mom doesn’t like your white girlfriend, she’s got to go. Sorry I don’t make the rules!
It is so Miranda to be searching online for the best review queer dating apps. But what are the names of these apps? Zoosk? Bi-Bi Love? Where are we right now? I am so proud of her for not answering Che’s phone call but also not shocked. Carrie kinda got her, ghosting is Miranda’s MO1. Che and Carrie’s friendship is always surprising until I remember they had a whole podcast together2 lmfao. It is just like Carrie to not want Che to rescue that dog, but also so like Che to have been a dog rescuer in a past life. Carrie was typically nowhere to be seen after the dog was picked up. I am actually really happy for Che and this new (old?) job. I am just bracing myself for the scene when a customer comes in and recognizes them and then they inevitably quit.
Nya is such an underrated character because her lines have me cracking up every time. We really do only get a shelf and a table lmfao. Miranda saying the full “LGBTQIA” was so annoying but so something Miranda would do. Need I remind you how Miranda and Nya met. Now, in Miranda’s defense it is really hard as a woman to figure out what queer dating sites to go on because there are so many and most of them suck. Nya telling Miranda that the advice she gives her students is “do the research, explore the topic, get results” or something like that was so funny. Like yeah that is just what you are supposed to do when you do a research paper! Lmao! Nya just didn’t want to listen to Miranda anymore so I get it but that was so funny. The woman that Miranda is infatuated by is named Amelia Carsey3 but in my mind, she is just an older version of Fawn Moscato. Only looks wise. Fawn would never be caught dead in that dirty ass apartment. Happy that Miranda finally thinks she’s a lesbian. OG fans of this show are probably jumping with glee. I know I am.
I just had to include a picture of how good Charlotte looked in this scene with Harry. Henry Jr. has officially lost his mind. You thought your Black parents were going to let you go to a hotel with your white girlfriend?? Are you crazy?? He has way too much dip on his chip but also him trying to collect his mom for “embarrassing him” chile…. you would think Henry Jr.’s mom was white! Charlotte in this damn card store. I can’t. This man is fine as hell, but everything Charlotte said to him was chaotic as hell. He does need the money though; how do you expect to make money if you’re only charging $1? Think!
This entire scene was chaotic as fuck. Why did Anthony have a problem with the steroids but not a problem with this man’s monster dick being on Drew? Drew in this episode was incredible. I would have said she stole the scene but we all know it was Guiseppe’s dick. MY question is how did they make him a suit with a name tag so fast? Of course, The Hilarious Ross Matthews has to make an appearance. That’s first name The Hilarious and Last name Ross Matthews.
Not the woman at the spa also looking like Fawn Moscato. She’s Fawn Moscato and she approves this episode. I totally understand why Seema4 went off on her because girl just because they are not a couple does not mean that two bodies aren’t going to be back there? What does it matter if they aren’t actually dating? She made a reservation! Fawn Moscato knock off #2 was doing a lot. Speaking of doing a lot, Charlotte was on one this scene. That Black person quickly got her together, but Rock was having none of it. Charlotte should have seen Rock quitting coming. Since when does Rock like being publicly embarrassed and working harder than they have to? I wish we got to see more of Lily’s F boys party. Or at least know what else was on the playlist besides Anti-Hero. How did Charlotte not know that those brownies were going to have weed in them? That is like homemade brownies 101.
Charlotte and this damn Brownie!!!!! I realized during this episode Charlotte is the only one we haven’t seen get high. I am so happy it finally happened. She is also so real for having her potential last words be “If I die, please let Carrie pick out what I get buried in!” Like that was iconic. Best moment of the entire episode for me. Well non-Aidan related. Harry and her are just such a funny pair I live.
This red moment deserved its own gallery. LTW will not be caught dead without a look! This red moment is everything!! This bowl cut bob is also everything! You know who isn’t everything? Baxter. It is time for this white girl to exit stage left. I honestly wish they had just fucked in their bed. Baxter is lucky LTW didn’t shove her outside the house by her blonde extensions. The white girl audacity!!!! To invade a black woman’s closet?! A woman whose closet has been so meticulously crafted and curated for decades? You bring the colonizer in there to put her little colonizer hands on it? Yeah, no she has got to go. And Henry Jr. needs to go to an insane asylum because that was crazy!
Miranda looked so good in this dress. Such a shame that she didn’t end up having sex with knock off Fawn Moscato #1. This woman’s place was not only too small but too junky. Also, what do you mean that the litterbox is normally in the shower? Also why didn’t she dress up? Also why didn’t you grab your sheets from the dryer before? And why did you want to have dinner at your house so bad? So many questions for knock off Fawn Moscato #1 in this scene. It is so funny that Miranda never realized that she could leave a bad date. I’ve never done that, but I hope I never have to. But if I was in this situation I would have been gone. I’m just glad she didn’t run into her on the stairs. Safe to say Miranda is probably not reading Pride and Prejudice any time soon.
Carrie and this damn restaurant. That was one of the most Carrie scenes ever. How did you miss the big ass 60 on the wall? But in her defense, the host who acted like she really had a reservation there was wrong too! For the record Aidan would have had every reason to stand Carrie up. Let’s remember the last time they saw each other was in Abu Dabi when they both cheated on their respective partners. 13 years ago!! That’s insane!
And Just Like That, Aidan is back. I do have to mention this horrible jacket that Aidan had on. It made absolutely no sense. The only semi logical explanation is that he was wearing it to try and impress Carrie. But even that doesn’t make sense. The jacket is hideous. He looks like Nick from New Girl when he accidentally bought that women’s jacket5. When I tell you I was so close to tears the entire time he was on the screen. My man my man my man. He’s back and he’s 40 pounds lighter! I really thought he was gonna say he had cancer or something6 and then this letter would have been an enraged read to the writers. Aidan is and will always be my favorite man from this show. It truly is crazy to think that after all Carrie and Aidan been through and after all the years that have passed, they are right back where they started. Or as I like to say where they should have been!!! Anyone with a brain could see that Aidan and Carrie were supposed to be together the entire time.
When they arrived at her house, I saw everything that happened coming. Obviously, it would be hard for him to go back into the apartment where Carrie broke his heart and ruined his life! And of course, the thought wouldn’t have even popped into Carrie’s brain. I really wanted him to leave her on those stairs because she would have deserved it. But no one is shocked that Aidan decided to go for it. He always does this dance of “omg idk if I can get back together you. It’s too hard waaa” and then he always does because she is the love of his life! Duh! I really am praying that Carrie doesn't fuck this up again. But as we know that is her entire MO. This time I just hope Aidan let’s her have it! I know I will.
Che could have also just texted Miranda what they wanted instead of asking Carrie but that’s just me

I hâte Carrie and Aidan together so much. Aidan is just a good guy (much like Steve) and Carrie loves drama too much. Big was perfect for her bc while it broke her heart over and over she loved the games.
