Sorry, this one is so late, life was lifeing. Also, nothing really happened in this episode, and I didn’t take any pictures, so this one will be quick.
Carrie
Carrie is having issues with her downstairs neighbor. He can’t sleep because of her constant heel walking. They have a few interactions, and she maintains that she can’t take her shoes off inside. It’s honestly really selfish and weird that she won’t take her shoes off. Why do you need to wear shoes inside anyway? At lunch with her friends, Charlotte says it’s more sanitary to take her shoes off. Miranda tries to relate by saying that her Airbnb neighbor has been blasting heavy metal 24/7. Carrie responds in typical Carrie fashion, “What does that have to do with my thing?” I’m glad she’s saying the quiet part out loud now. Carrie gets him a peace offering in the shape of a welcome gift, and he does not want it. He gives her some house shoes that she instantly declines. Carrie is being super unreasonable, and I would not have been as nice as he was. The neighbor tells the gardeners to stop working, and that annoys Carrie. Then his fire alarm goes off, and they end up going to dinner. They reach common ground because they are both writers, and all is well.
Charlotte
Harry reveals to Charlotte that he has prostate cancer in front of the Guggenheim (lol). Of course, she freaks out, but he tells her that she can’t tell anyone. This, of course, causes her to act out on everyone in her family and on the glamping trip with LTW’s family. LTW catches on that something is wrong, and they have a touching moment in the pool. I’m surprised and proud of Charlotte for not telling anyone.
Miranda
Miranda is still living in an Airbnb because of everything that happened with her and Steve. Her neighbor is constantly playing heavy metal music, and she is politely leaving notes under his door. After one too many notes, he opens the door and threatens to kill her if she leaves another one. This causes Miranda to take Carrie up on her offer to stay with her until she finds a place. There are immediate issues because Miranda has eaten her last yogurt. I am on Carrie’s side because why would you eat my last yogurt and then be like “you don’t eat yogurt." If I don’t eat Yogurt, then why is it in the fridge?
Miranda borrows one of Carrie’s scarves for a date with Joy. The date ends up not going well because of Joy’s dogs, and Miranda comes home early. Miranda runs into Carrie half-naked in the hallway, LOL. Then the next day, Miranda is working at Carrie’s new table (that Aidan got her) and spills her last Mexican Coke. She uses the scarf to clean up the mess, and that is the last straw for Carrie. Carrie invites Seema over, and she agrees to help Miranda find a place.
Side note: It was weird that Carrie wouldn’t talk to Seema about helping Miranda find a place initially. Mixing friends and business isn’t a great idea, but when your friend is basically homeless and the other friend is a recently out-of-work real estate agent, that seems like a dumb thing to say.
Seema
Seema fails to get a loan and spirals about it. I need them to give her a love interest or a more interesting plotline next episode, I swear to god. She was flirting with the gardener, but I don’t find him hot at all. He could be what she needs, but if that’s true, let’s get to it!
LTW
Henry gets jealous of LTW’s editor, Marion. It’s a really dumb thing to be mad about because he’s clearly gay. At least he is to me. Henry is really annoying, and I don’t like the way he minimizes LTW’s work in comparison to his. Other than that, her plotline was boring too.
alright, hopefully the next episode is more interesting!
